How it works · Jun 15, 2026
Most free tiers are built as pressure. A timer, a watermark, a feature wall you hit mid-task. The design goal is mild frustration, because frustration converts.
We think that's backwards for a product like this. PromptuPatch is useful precisely when it saves you time, and you can't evaluate whether something saves you time while you're being nagged.
So the free allocation is 10 full prompts. No feature differences, no degraded answers, no countdown. Ten is enough to route a real week of work through the site and honestly judge whether the matching is good and the previews help. If after ten prompts the answer is no, you shouldn't pay us, and we'd rather you found out free.
The mechanics are deliberately simple too: one credit per prompt, balance always visible above the input so nothing sneaks up on you, and the counter turns red near the end as a heads-up rather than a surprise.
One honest limitation worth knowing: free credits currently live in your browser's local storage. That means a different device or a cleared browser starts fresh. It also means we're not building a profile of you to track a balance. When we add proper accounts, that trade-off changes, and we'll say so plainly when it does.
